Biography
Brad was born and raised in a small town in Alabama. Growing up, he spent frequent afternoons riding the back roads with his grandpa, fishing with his grandma and eating lots of good home cooking. Although he was comfortable growing up in Alabama, he always knew he would one day move to New York City to pursue acting as a career. In 1995, Brad did just that – packed his belongings and headed to The Big City. Brad spent nearly 12 years living in NYC and enjoying his love affair with the Big Apple. It was tough to leave the concrete jungle, but in 2007 Brad moved south of the Mason Dixon line once again. He now resides in the Washington DC area with his partner Brad and his son Kyler.
Brad has kicked up his heels in such shows as Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, And the World Goes 'Round, Fame! and 42nd Street. While living in New York, Brad portrayed such “southern idiots” as Marvin Macy in The Ballad of the Sad Café, Peachy in The Last Night of Ballyhoo, and Bo Bob Jasper, a simple-minded Texan mailman in Cheatin’. “You can take the boy out of the south…”
Off-Broadway and other NYC credits include: My Big Gay Italian Wedding, Beyond Therapy, Damage Control, and many other readings, workshops and commercials. Brad has also worked regionally and toured with Periwinkle National Theatre, Florida Studio Theatre, and most recently played the role of Tony Whitcomb in nearly 800 performances of Shear Madness at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
Brad is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association.
